Not a long time ago Rockchip made their transition from the Dual core RK3066 to the newer Quad Core RK3188. Lately they released an even stronger SOC. The RK3288 which doesn't have the problems the RK3188 had, especially on video hardware acceleration.
As of today, there are a few tv boxes powered by this particular SOC. One of them is the CS918II, the successor of the famous CS918 RK3188.
The latest model has big improvements in tems of hardware. Let's take a look at the specs:
