Introduction
In this article i'm gonna review two new boxes from Vigica. The C90T & and the C90S
They are both identical but they have one major difference.
The C90T supports DVB-T2 while the C90S supports DVB-S2
This means that you can connect the TV Box with an antennaand watch TV channels if your monitor doesn't have antenna input.
DVB-T2 is for terrestrial and DVB-S2 for sattelite.
Very useful and great feature i must say
Looks
The devices have a black matte exterior with the Vigica logo on topand on the front we have the C90 logo and a power led
On the sides we have nothing and on the back we have various ports
I'll skip this for now and let's take a look at the software
Vigica has done an excellent job delivering a great user experience and this is obvious by the software iteration.
The standard mediabox launcher we have seen on various other android tv boxes is available but this time Vigica has taken it a step further matching some other elements to the launcher's theme perfectly well.
The included IR remote does a great job and as a matter of fact this review is shot using this to navigate through the menus

Software
When we first switch on our TV Box it asks us to scan channels
I'll skip this for now and let's take a look at the software

The usual folders are present such as Online Video and My Recommended Appsand they are both editable
We have an app drawer of course, a file manager and some shortcuts you can edit on the bottom line
On the top right corner there is the date and time and if we go into the settings we see the 4 tabs we have previously seen on other android tv boxes
Network: where we see our wireless networks and ethernet connection
Display: where we can set up our screensaver and HDMI output mode etc
Advanced: where we have the miracast function, remote control, Google TV remote, CEC control etc
And the Other tab where we can find our model number, android version etc. From here we can update our system and go to the stock android settings
DTV
The most important feature of the C90T and the C90S is the ability to support DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 in order to let you watch tv channels even if your monitor doesn't support antenna input
I have connected the C90T with an antenna and now let's open the DTV app and search for channels
As i mentioned before, Vigica has created some apps to match the main launcher and we can witness it with the DTV app
It's interface is great and it works as a seperate launcher too where you can add your own apps or access them all from the app drawer
Also we have the settings tab where we can find
Network Settings
Display Settings
Sound Settings
Language
Time Settings
Memory Clear
System Upgrade
System Information
Channel installation was easy and you either choose Auto or Manual search
On the main DTV home page we see a virtual TV Monitor broadcasting our current channel and on the right we have the installation options, channel manager, EPG showing us the TV program and DTV preferences
The quality of the picture is great and it is even better than the picture from my TV.
XBMC/Kodi and Video Playback
Kodi comes preinstalled and the operation is quite smooth and fast
I connected hard drive and tried some test videos
The first one is 1080p 40 Mbps
The second one is 1080p 10 Mbps
They both played great without frame loss
Benchmarks and Specs
Antutu Benchmark gave me an average score of 15222
and 3D Mark 2327 points
These scores are not on pa with the higher specced TV Boxes out there but you will buy the C90T and the C90S for their DTV features
Although the scores were not that high, the devices still gave me a smooth and fast user experience
As we can see these two TV Boxes sport an Amlogic S805 CPU along with a Mali-$50 GPU, 1 GB of DDRIII RAM and 8 GB of Internal Storage
Antutu Video Tester gave me very good results with the devices lacking only on 4k playback
Conclusion
C90T and C90S are two great TV Boxes from a very responsible company
The built in DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 give you the option to use them as a TV enabled set top box. That;s very handy if you've connected it to a pc monitor with no antenna input
I totally recommend them to you
